It's a great insurance company - a direct writer, so they don't use agents. In order to buy a policy from them, you have to be active or retired military, spouse of active or retired military, or child of active or retired military.
They have great rates and claims service. |

United Services Auto Assn. I have my auto and homeowners coverage with them, and it is wonderful. Also, my father who is the military man I have coverage under, told me that anyone can now get insurance with usaa - you no longer have to be associated with the military or be a family member of an officer. It used to be open only to officers and their families.
