A pay period is the amount of time between each salary check. Just ask what the pay period is. |

Well, that sounds a little odd.
But, to help answer your question, you generally get paid one week after your pay period. Since you get paid on a bi-weekly schedule, you work for two weeks, then work one more week. At the end of that third week, you'll get your check for the first two weeks. Make sense?
So, you work the 1st-14th, then get paid on the 21st for the 1st-14th. |

You need to ask the manager, or if its a company, as the HR manager. They may have just forgotten to give you your check. Are you supposed to fill out a time sheet at all? If so, and you havent turned one in, they wouldnt be able to pay you. Ask right away and just be upfront with it. No need to be embarrassed. Everyone's time in precious, even yours, so dont let them waste it having you working or worrying about this! You'll get it taken care! |
