There is no one company that will have the "best" rates for any one person. You should check with a local independent insurance agent who can check with many different companies to get you the best possible rate.
When I shopped for my 18 year old son, Safeco turned out to have the best rate of the companies that I sell for. I also checked with State Farm, Allstate, and Geico. None of them could even get close. |

The best thing to do is shop around for the best price. As far as service, both AllState and GEICO took care of me really well. However, I am with Liberty Mutual now due to significant price difference. |

I'll say shop around! There are a lot of companies out there that will give a good student discount, but don't go with the first. You need to check rates, what happens in a accident, etc. check www.autoquotedirect.com. |
