You need to call all of them and get a quote and ask them what all is covered in the Insurance. But if I remember correctly I had ARRP they was very reasonable. I do believe they are out of Conneticut even If they aren't try them they have great Homeowners and sometimes your Automobile Insurance Company has homeowners |

Lauren; Do a comparison check of 'The Hartford' and 'The Travelers'. They are your best bet for here in Connecticut.
We've done our own independant research and none come close to either of these for cost, coverage and customer service. |

www.usaa.com. I don't know if anyone outside of the military is eligible to do business with them, but they are really worth checking out. They have very competitive rates, which include coverage for the actual cost of re-building a destroyed house, not just coverage for what your house was actually worth. This is very important. |

mbrcatz17 is right, but I'll add: You can get a multi-policy discount by combining with your auto (auto is usually pricier than home). But I have my home and umbrella with Hingham Mutual, with no cap on replacement. But it all depends on you and your home as to best price and coverage. |

A couple of good names have been mentioned. However, there is not one 'best' company. You need to find several agents and get quotes. Ask questions about what all is covered. This allows you to find the best fit for your home. |
