Try Allstate, Geico, and Progressive. I know Allstate is good about keeping people even if they have accidents in their record (or among kids in their account).
It's good to compare a few and make sure you are giving them the same amounts for comprehensive, collision, bodily injury, towing, and rental, so you are comparing apples to apples. |

If you're a first-time driver you may want to consider the following:
Progressive, GEICO, AllState, State Farm, and MetLife.
Check with the insurance agent your folks have and see if he can offer you a better deal than you find online.
You can compare free auto insurance quotes online with no obligation at InsureMe. Just fill out a form and they will give you up to five free quotes for auto insurance from top-rated insurance companies. To request your free quotes, visit http://www.insureme.com/landing.aspx?Refby=613596&Type=auto
I hope that helps! Best of luck to you. |

State Farm is the best quality and they have a lot of discounts for young people. Look into it, they have the "Steer Clear" discount and good student discount. Also, multiline and multicar. (I work at SF and I have all of the above discounts) |

Check with your parents people to see if they offer a family discount, if that isn't an option, call around and check out some of the places like Gecco and stuff. Make sure you get enough coverage though. Not just the cheapest. |

Look in the yellow pages. Find local car insurance company that carries multiple companies, ie. progressive, farmers, etc. They can usually find you a really good rate.
But if you are a brand new driver and 16, the BEST and cheapest way to go is under your parents policy. |
