If you are generally healthy, then the cheapest way to go is high deductible, lowest coverage. If you have medical issues, then you have to shop around. And some companies may not take you based on prior risks. I have found that ehealthinsurance.com has some good rates when I was in-between jobs. (I am not affiliated.) If you have a medical issue, the cheapest way to cover it is to get a job with a great insurance plan. They have to accept you no matter what. If you are out on a limb, get temporary insurance. Get only temporary coverage (3 months or less.) In the meantime, get a job with a reputable company like I advised above, to cover your costs. I know elderly people with cancers who have gone back into the work force specifically for this reason. You don't specify why you need an urgent answer, so this is the best I can provide for now. |

Depends on a lot of factors - you didn't give enough info to really determine. A PPO plan with an Office Visit Copay is probably the best in general. |
