Scampy | What is the best value health insurance for hospitals? |

When purchasing Health Insurance please read the "Evidence of coverage" or what is normally referred to as the EOC, I recently read an EOC that revealed a max. out of pocket for heart surgery at 6500. this means that if a client went in for a heart surgery this plan would pay out a max. of 6500 for a heart surgery, now we all know that a heart surgery would cost more than 6500.!. It is ultimately up to the consumer to make sure that his/her plan will pay out for services if needed. I would suggest you purchase a plan from a major carrier. ie. Blue Cross/ Blue Shield , Aetna, United Health- these are the major players in the United States. Remember the saying, "if it sounds to good to be true, it probably is"..

You will want to have health insurance that covers doctors and prescriptions as well as hospitals. Almost always, the expenses at hospitals are much higher than the others, but get them all.
The BEST value usually means getting the best coverage at the lowest cost from a quality insurer.
One of your very best options is short-term health insurance. Many people do not know about it but it is quality coverage at a low price. And, you can go to any doctor, hospital, or pharmacy you wish because there is no "network". You can set it up to cover you as early as tomorrow.
For more details, go to http://www.wavehelp.com/short-term-medical-insurance.htm and read up on it. That is an easy to use site and will even let you buy on-line if you wish.
Best wishes. |

depends on how much you are willing to spend on monthly premiums. The higher the premium the less you will pay during your visit. The lower the premium, the higher you will pay during your premium. I would first look at PPO plans from the carriers that service in your area. |
