Im so lucky i'm living it! I live in canyon country in a valley and the first thing i see out my bedroom door in the morning is the sunrise. At evening time, my front door is the place to be to catch a glorious sunset. In between sunrise and sunset, i have the freedom to pursue whatever it is that i want to. I have lots of time to spend with my lover of 8 years because we live together and we have common interests. We often spend days exploring on our ATV's (we are new to this state) as of last year. We had enough cash saved to buy the house we wanted which is near a lake. We go fishing day or night, at a moments notice because the lake is walking distance from our home. There are Indian ruins to explore, new people to meet, never worrying about not having enough money, which is such a relief in itself.We are so grateful to be able to take a very early retirement to enjoy so many activities we might not have been able to enjoy 20 years from now. Everyday is the beginning of a new adventure for us. If we tire of the "ROUTINE" at home, we pack up and stay on the houseboat, at beautiful Lake Powell for a few weeks. My life is an ongoing vacation. I know i am blessed. I love my life and i thank god for the means to be able to live my life in the carefree way i do! |

I already got the house and wife, Police took my cat because I left it outdoor. I got my cigrettes, beer and tea and meal. Just need to find enough income to support those after retirement.

A well managed (by me) asset allocation. I've calculated that we need at least $2,000,000 in our retirement account to live well by the time we retire.
Know the minimum we'll need in retirement (adjust for inflation) and have our portfolio reflect that growth. Our plans include a lot of traveling and to maintain our current standard of living.

I promised myself at a young age, I would play golf, have fun, not worry, work later when I was too old to have fun. I've already had 20 years retirement, lots of good looking young girls, etc.
Now I'm working my butt off, 364 days a year, work like a dog, make only decent money, but I love what I am doing. I would never leave my job unless they slide me out of there horizontally.
I love that place, consider myself to be very lucky to have the job! |
