depending upon your specialty (tax, corporate, etc...) you will need a math apptitude, cognative ability, abiilty to read tons of vaguely worded documents with circular references and understand how to pick out just the facts necessary for your particular situation (based on the facts). Ability to work a computer, your ability to negotiate, and your abiilty to present facts in a straight forward and understandable way if you are needed to represent your client in a court of law. Other areas where you will need to have knowledge: business law, economics, statistics, marketing, finance, public relations, real estate, and general business topics. |
