How about giving you sister a chance to redeem herself first since she is family. Call her let her know that you and ur g-mother know everything. Then tell her to pay back the money in full or installments. If she doesn't agree to paying it back, then you have to do what u got to do. Sue her @$$ for fraud. And don't forget she is going to pay one way or another Karma is a you know what!! |

Only if grandma goes and files a police report, prosecutes her granddaughter and asks for and gets restitution.
That is it.
She needs to file the police report anyway, as your sister may well have done more than just this.
Also, please run her credit history (www.annualcreditreport.com-the only legal free place to ask for the reports online), as I bet there is more.
Karma is real and your sister will eventually get hers.
Protect your grandma!

Get a lawyer and sue your sister for fraud. I don't know if you have a good relationship with your sister or not, but she shouldn't have done that. And talk to your Grandmother about it and see how she feels about it. |

You need to call the police right now. That is identity theft, and you sister needs to pay for it. |

I would think only by suing your sister. Your grandmother needs to report what's going on and the insurance company will take over from there. Hope you're ok with your sis going to prison for fraud though. Otherwise, there is no free money fund that will reimburse her. |

Your grandmother can go to the police station, and file charges against your sister. After your sister goes to jail, the judge can try to attach her assets so that your grandmother can be partially reimbursed.
If your grandmother won't press charges, there isn't anything to be reimbursed for. |

You need to call the police and file a report. This will probably get your sister arrested. Once the police report is filed, contact the company and try to get the money back. |
