Did you get any witnesses to testify on your behalf. Did the Police attend?
All insurance companies tell you to deny liability. That is their job to find who was to blame. |

Hi. Call the police and report this ASAP. If it is over a certain amount of damage to the vehicles you are required to report it depending on where you live and the laws on the damage involved. If the other person reports it and you do not you are guilty of a hit and run which can be a felony. Sort this out first and then call your insurance company ASAP after. Hope this helps. |

Call your insurance company for help. It makes no difference what the police say and if no one is hurt, they will usually not even come out. It also doesn't matter what the other party says either.
The insurance companies know how to tell who is telling the truth. But it depends on how the accident happened. Why don't you post those details.

Report the claim to your insurance company. If you are fully comp they will deal with everything. I work for an insurance company and my job is to claim from the at fault driver. Your insurance will use the registration to trace their insurance and try to claim from them. If they are denying it though it might be difficult without witnesses. Its possible they won't be able to get their money back and the claim will go down as your fault. |

Make a police report immediately. Call your insurer and advise of the accident. The insurer will tell you where to go to get an estimate for repair. The customer service line for most insurers is open 24 hours a day to take new claims. Good luck. |

I hope you phoned the police when the accident happened because you will need their report. If you didn't then you'll just have to phone your insurance company and see what they can do. Always make sure you phone the police if you have an accident because you can get stuck if the other party tries to change their story and blame you later on. |
