I am not sure what is your situation. If you are you employed by USAA, which it seems is your situation, this is a question for your supervisor. If you have USAA insurance and want to know when you will get a check for a loss, it might take 2 or 3 days to get your money. This is very fast for an insurance company and is one of the reasons I have their insurance. |

It depends on your employer.
USAA typically makes your direct dpeosit available the morning before your actual payday.
For example: Military pay is almost always available the day BEFORE payday. For December, payday is Monday the first, but everyone got paid Friday morning (the business day before).
Careful, though. There are two times in my memory that DFAS sent direct deposits late and pay was posted on the normal pay date.
Ultimately, you can check via their website, automated system, text message balance inquiry, or mobile web to see if your direct deposit is available to be spent.
If you are civilian employed, getting paid early varies. My employer doesn't send in the direct deposit early enough to get it the morning before. Instead, it posts overnight and in the morning of my payday when I wake up it's in my account. |
