"Cheap auto insurance" and "teenage driver" (especially male drivers) don't go together.

You can share your parents' insurance BUT remember that it is the vehicle that is insured.
You will have to declare who is the owner of the vehicle and this implies that the owner is the person who will use the vehicle most.
You may not think that this is important but it is when a you attempt to make a claim (and unfortunately statistics show that young male drivers are the most likely to make a claim).
This is because the insurance company insuring you is trusting you to give them the right information - if they find that you have not given the right information they will not pay the claim.
Also if you have an accident it will effect your parents' no-claim bonus and possibly the excesses on their next renewal.
