While its true that most banks have notaries, not all do. But now a days you can get a document notarized anywhere.

Every bank has a Notary, so if you have a checking or savings account, you can get your document notarized there for no cost. Call ahead because you want to make sure the employee who is the Notary is at work.
Law firms have notaries but will charge you a fee and you might have to be a client.
