There's no way to answer your question, based on the information you've given.
Does that cover you, you and your spouse, you and three kids, you and your entire family? What are the ages of everyone covered? In what area do you live? What's your deductible and the details of your plan? Does anyone use tobacco, or have any pre-existing conditions?
These are all important factors. You'll have to give more info if you want some real advice. |

You could move to any other developed country in the world. The US has the worst coverage for the most money. Everyone has their hand in the pot. The insured want more services and drugs. The insurance companies and pharmaceuticals want someone else to pay for their advertising. The doctors don't want to be accountable for their malpractice. The lawyers want a third of what the doctors and drug co's have to shell out. The government wants to pretend it's not happening. In short, you don't have any choice. |

$300 a month isn't bad! It depends on your age and your health.
But it's cheaper if you find an employer that provides health insurance. Then THEY pick up the tab for most of it. |
