It's usually 10 bucks. Depends on the type of document you are going to get notarized. You can go and search on the net for walking notaries (these are notaries that will go to your place, you need not leave your home), you may also try calling escrow companies, they always have a notary handy. |

If you don't like going to banks, do you have AAA (American Automobile Association)? You can get notary services there.
Also, you can look in the phone book; notaries may be listed. |

If you go to your bank, they will usually do it for free. Also most court houses will do it in the clerk's office. I am a notary and don't charge for notarizing things but some people charge a couple of bucks. |

Start with your bank or your insurance agent. If you don't have either go to a law firm, they will most certainly have a notary on staff. |
