Most banks have notaries there. If you don't have an account with them, you'll be paying a small fee (like $5).
Your mother needs to go in person, and bring a photo id like passport or driver's license. |

Where ever your mother holds a bank account, have her go to member services and sign in with her statement to be notarized and they will handle it for her. Her insurance agent, most mortgage brokers, title companies, and lawyers offices also have notaries that could do it for a fee also. |

Yes, your bank should offer free notarizations. If not, I know that most UPS stores have notaries, too. They charge between $4.00 and $6.00 depending on where you live.
Note- You have to draft the statement and take it to them- they will not draft it for you- the school might have a standarized form, too |

Most financial institutions have a notary on staff. Depending on the bank, they may require you to have an account. Look in the yellow pages under Notary Public. You should be able to find one easily.
Also, check whether attorneys in your Wisconsin can notarize (they can in New Jersey). Call your local State Bar Association.
Notary's also charge a fee depending on what they are notarizing. Make sure your mother brings photo identification, it is required. |

You can go to any one in an official capacity that has known you for 5 years. Priest, principal of the school or college. Also any government office,( providing you have two or more pieces of identity) or notary republic. |
