$150 a month, YIKES! That is high!
I can only give you a company average based on the information you provided.
Liability will cost around $25/$35 a month. Full Coverage will cost around $60/$70 a month.

I spent about 2 days looking for car insurance.
I ended up choosing geico.
They were cheap, and let me choose a high deductible, and were not pushy on selling me stuff I didn't want or need - like other companies.
They do a credit check. - that was a huge discount.
You are paying way too much. I have a 5 year old mustang and pay $265 every 6 months. I would could pay less, if I took out some things.

Ummm....how can you compare prices without comparing coverage? It's like saying "I only paid $3 for dinner and I was paying $29. GEICO is the Wal-Mart of insurance. No professionals, no claim service, no agents, etc. Did anyone even ask you what you wanted for liability limits, or even explain them to you? Odds are you just bought state minimum liability coverage which saves you literally a couple of dollars monthly. Just don't get in an accident. You'll be paying for years for your upfront monthly savings.
By the way, insurance companies want you to have high deductibles, there's no persuasion necessary. |

Yea you are paying too much, read some reviews online first.

they have lots of information in the auto insurance field, they have a ton of articles
and very nice tips to help you lower your cost of auto insurance, they also have
ratings for the top auto insurance companies in the country, I highly recommend that
