Go to your state medicaid office, and apply for welfare health insurance.
If your income isn't low enough for welfare health insurance, well, you get exactly what you pay for - the cheaper the insurance, the less they cover, the higher the deductibles, and the lower the limits.
That's just how it works. |

what you can do is go to your local medicaid office and fill out an application. every state has one. and they go soley by your income. and even if you exceed their income guidlines for free care, then you would still be somewhat eligible for VERY low preium and still have decent coverage. ive found that state insurance is almost better than commercial insurance since they cover for pretty much everything. i live in the state of massachusetts and we have MassHealth and they cover EVERYTHING. and i work at Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, which is a New ENgland based health insurance and i can tell you that state insurance is sufficient for you. thats your best bet. and just so you have other options, you can always shop around and look at commercial plans because they offer low premium plans with a deductible. so if you're a fairly health person then the plan could work for you...but first stop should be the states medicaid office....hope this helps. |

Contact a local insurance agent. They'd be happy to do a search for you. It would free to you are they are paid by the insurance carrier not by you. |

Many states have some health insurance available for adults without insurance at low / reduced rates, and free below a certain income level. Search internet for insurance companies and rates available.
