Most banks have a notary present. Some will not charge if you are a customer of the bank. I used to be a notary when I had a lot of office traffic. I did not charge my customers for the service. You might check with your insurance agent. If you are a member of AAA, many of their offices have a notary available at no charge for members. One other possibility is a real estate agent's office. Ask your parents if they know of any. They often do this as a courtesy so that you will list your home for sale with them when you are ready to sell.
Otherwise, if you go into a notary's office, you should be able to get out for no more than $10-$15. If they come to you, expect to pay $30-$50. |

Look in your phone book yellow pages under "notary publics". Or go to any bank. And there is usually a notary on staff at most banks, car dealerships and courthouses. The fee is very small usually--around $2 for the most part, sometimes free. |

Most pharmacies have a notary, as do all banks. The bank will not charge you if you have an account there, and a pharmacist will usually charge between $3-5. |
