You would be better served to speak to a live agent rather than from the internet. You can get cheap quotes but that is what you will receive in the long run- cheap service. If you get a quote off the internet can they provide you with a complete financial check up? Can they be sure that you are getting the coverage that you want? |

I recommend http://www.lifeinsurancewiz.com . Your information will be sent to an insurance broker in your area who works with several different companies and can find the best rates and coverage for you. Your local broker will also be fully up to speed on your state’s laws and regulations. Good luck! |

at 62, you should have realistic expectations about what sort of term limits you can get. You will find that most likely, 5, 10 and 15 year are your only viable options. Term life rates HAVE gone way down lately due to new mortality tables in use. But, if you want to strictly get quotes, there are many online quote services. But they will refer you to a company. You should never purchase any kind of life insurance over the internet, for your own peace of mind. In fact, in Florida, I would be required to certify that I have actually interviewed you and observed your speech, appearance, etc., before I could even write you an insurance application. |

You want to get accurate quotes based on your individual information.
Typically you can run quotes, but need to speak with
someone who will ask you health questions, family history info, etc.. and can then quote you over the phone.
If you have a more significant health issue, they may need to shop for quotes for you after speaking with underwriters. |

Beware of lowball "on-line" quotes. All insurers will require a medical underwriting exam first, before you get the "final" quote. |

Why do people insist on do-it-yourself insurance? It's not like you're saving any money!!
Just like do-it-yourself heart surgery, you'll probably be better off if you have someone else to help you with it.
Go see a local, independent agent. Ask them for quotes from 10 different companies.
At your age, in perfect health, it's STILL going to be pretty darned expensive, if you're looking for more than a year or two term at a time. |
