My boyfriend had a heart attack last year and is now out of most of his perscriptions. He still owes the hospital alot of money for the original ER visit and cannot go back to the doctor to give him a new perscription. You go to Target, Sam's Club, CVS, or Walgreens, where you can get generics filled for $4 a month.
Print out the list of generics at each place, bring them to the doc, and you'll be able to pay for the doc out of the prescription savings. You'll have to ask the doc for prescriptions off the $4 lists. |

walmart has a generic prescription program where you pay $4.00 per prescription--but it must be generic. Most of the drug companies have programs to help pay for meds if you can't afford them. Whatever he does, he will have to go to a Dr. to get new prescriptions since he is almost out of his meds. If you live in an area with a medical school, you may be able to go to the clinic at the Med school. There, med students practice under the supervision of doctors.
