Well... What do you mean by top Insurance companies. Is it turn over, profit, No of policies done etc. All all companies claim they are no one.. In a sence they are, Bajaj Allianz Life came out No 1 Private Life Insurance Copany beating ICICI Pru in Premium, LIC is still no 1 life Insurance company in India. ICICI Pru and again toped on the month of April' 06 Bajaj and I Pru and close competion it terms of premium. Its better you take a good look in to IRDA web site and make your own choise, and if you want to know this to buy a policy you better look and the product and servise rather that looking at how big the company is or if you want to join a Insurance Company most of the top companies are not a good place to work. Birla Sunlife, HDFC Standard LIfe ING Vysya Life have good work enviorment. Bajaj Allianz Live and ICICI Pru... Not so good
