Which insurance company would be a better choice USAA or Farmers?
Which insurance company would be a better choice USAA or Farmers considering all things being relative to each persons situation; although USAA does seem to rate better financially and in overall customer satisfaction and is exclusive to the military?

Whatever you do avoid Allstate, Farmers and StateFarm, which have very bad ratings as they have consistently proven how terrible they are to their customers time and time again.
USAA has very good ratings and is exclusive to veterans and the military and has a very good record and excellent customer service and is owned by its members unlike Allstate, Farmers and StateFarm which are corporations that have franchised offices where agents get huge commissions from their unsuspecting victims/clients who end up with a false sense of security actually believing that they will be covered by their insurance company policy in the event of a loss; little do they realize that Allstate, Farmers and StateFarm which have the highest number of complaints by its clients are notorious for fighting claims at all costs and have the bad records to prove it. USAA does not have a commissioned staff and is also a highly rated place of employment and is well known for covering the insurance claims of its clients and has by far one of the lowest amount of complaints of its customers as well as its employees, which is something to consider.

Being that Farmers Insurance was rated WORST by Consumer Reports I would go with USAA.

I have USAA and I love it. The rates are good, and since it's a mutual insurance company, meaning that the company is owned by it's policyholders, you get dividends for each accident-free year. They also help expedite your car repairs in the event of an accident.
I got into an accident a few years ago, and my car was fixed in 3 DAYS!!! My roommate had a similar accident, and it took over a month for her to get her car back!
