Which is a reputable life insurance company to get whole life insurance without a physical exam.?
Can you name a few companies where I can take out a life insurance policy against myself, my husband without take a lenthly physical exam.

I wonder if you know for sure when Whole of Life insurance cover is used?

Generally rather than Whole of Life insurance people have 'term' insurance. This is used, for instance, to cover mortgages or to cover dependants against loss of earning. It is for a fixed term, eg 25 years.

Whole of Life will continue until death, as long as the premiums are paid. Examples of use for Whole of Life are for funeral expenses and inheritance tax planning.

Generally there would be less concern by an insurance company for a lower sum assured. Larger amounts would be checked in more details, more likely to result in physical examinations.

Without ANY exam...or without a lengthy one? There's a big difference. Because if you're going without an exam you're paying 5-10 times the cost and you won't be able to get nearly as much coverage. Usually the exams constitute blood, urine, height, and weight.....20 minutes tops. You'll get a competitive policy. Otherwise you can go the Ed McMahon route and go Colonial Penn or one of those companies.

Are you looking for a small amount of coverage? If so, you want Globe Life. If you want more than $25,000 of coverage, you will need to have a physical exam.

And many people who take out those small, no exam policies don't read the fine print - and don't realize that they have to live at least two years, and have answered all the questions completely and honestly, or the policy won't pay out.

For any significant amount of coverage (or if you are over a certain age), you'll have to agree to an insurance physical.

many companies will offer a smaller permenant policy with little or no exam. But you will get little or no coverage. The little exam is usually a mouth swab, to test for Tobacco, HIV, illegal drugs. This is legit. If you go the no exam route be aware that they may have to right to underwrite at your death. In other words if you died tomorrow of a heart attach your claim may be denied for preexisiting condition and you will only get your premiums back. Beware of what you are asking for. You may just get what you are asking for. Nothing for nothing

Colonial Penn and Garden State Life are both reputable companies that offer whole life insurance products where you don't have to take a medical exam. As a disclaimer I work for Garden State Life.

They both have online applications that you should be able to breeze through very quickly.

You will pay more than a fully underwritten plan so you will be paying for the convenience and you will be limited in the amount of coverage you can purchase.
