Which is more corrupt Oil company's or insurance company's?
I cant stand both but really think that its a toss up. I just read about how insurance companys are limiting coverages again but what a crock. It is law that you have it but they have the right to change the policy on their end and jack prices up but will drop you possibly or double your premium if you dare have to use it. In Montana State Farm is by far the worse to use. What is your opinions. Oh and need I say anything about the oil companys? What does the government need to look into most?

Ya know, the whole basis is "free enterprise". Who wants to buy stock in companies that don't make money? Want to buy a couple shares of Enron off of me??

Companies are IN BUSINESS to MAKE MONEY for their shareholders. Period. If you think they're making tons of profit, put your money where your mouth is. Personally, I think there's more profit in oil these days than insurance, but NEITHER is stable enough for me to put MY dollars on the table.

I don't WANT the government to step in and take over - that's how businesses are run in Cuba, and NO ONE makes any money, except the government people taking bribes.

The government needs to butt out. You want cheaper gas prices? Write to your reps so we can drill here in the US, and off US coasts, instead of having to buy oil from other countries. Write to your reps so we can allow REFINERIES to be built & run here in the US, instead of having to pay other countries to do it. OH, and the average TAX on a gallon of gas is $.75 - AMAZING. Maybe we could cut that back, too!!!

I'd agree the insurance companies are worse. After all, you don't hear the oil companies telling us how they're here to help us in our time of need. No, they just rip us off with no excuses whatsoever. By the way, generally Allstate gets the top pick of worst insurance company.

Did you take a look at the Mississippi after Katrina? State Farm refused to pay out to several people who lost their homes and so did several others. The wind insurance claimed it was flooding, and the flood insurance companies claimed it was wind that damaged people's homes. Now, c'mon people! A hurricane has both flooding and wind damage involved, yet there are STILL folks fighting with insurance claims...now, you tell me which is more corrupt?

neither is worth squat. one acts as a monopoly, oil, the other as a money machine which nevers pays off unless it has no other choice.
