I'm in GA. I'm a licensed agent and the company I work for allows you to take part of a group even though you have an individual policy. If you are self employed or if your employer doesn't provide benefits then that's the best route you can go.

We allow you to go to ANY DOCTOR OR HOSPITAL!

find a insurance broker/dealer(independent agent) some one who is appointed with multiple health care company's they can take your basic info and use that as a guide to get you several quotes and any specifics that you want or need |

It varies greatly from state to state as well as with your individual needs and medical history. Best advice, take some time and interview several companies, find who has the best rate for the kind of services your looking for. Also, there's a huge difference in cost between HMOs, PPOs, POSs, etc. Also if you're able to use a physician who's in network or not. Educate yourself on what's available in your area. Some states and areas are always considered out of network so your out of pocket costs (beyond your premiums) are going to be higher. Good luck! |
