Go on progressive.com. They will compare rates of companies for you based on your situation. |

Progressive in the long run - If you have any issues (ticket, accident...) Progressives rates don't go up as much as Geico. But if your comparing a first quote from both Geico wins. I have had both within the past 4 years and shop each other often to get my rates as low as they can go |

It totally depends on what state you live in and whether companies are trying to gain market share in that state.
If a company wants to sell more policies in a certain state, they'll drop their rates to be more competitive there.
It really is so wide open and variable, your question is virtually impossible to answer. |

Each person has different circumstances since insurance is based on age, gender, car driven, etc, etc, EVEN your credit score!!!!
When MY rates went up after my daughter had several accidents, I shopped several companies and found one where my premium cut to ALMOST HALF!!
It PAYS to shop different companies YEARLY or even MORE OFTEN, and you don't have to be loyal to any one agent, either. |

Progressive, & Geico Insurance companies. Go to them online : just add a www. in the front of the name of each company, and a .com at the end to get there. You'll get free quotes. |

Check out AAA...I have found them to be better than Progressive and Gieco. I don't think they show up on Progressive's search tool either...for good reason. |

The company that gives you the lowest rates.
Sorry, that's the best answer there is. Some companies are cheapest for kids, some for drunks, some for men who are 45. There is no one absolute "cheapest" company. |
