Contact the pharmacy and ask if they know of any programs that will assist you in getting the needed medication.
Also speak with your doctor they may be able to prescribe a different medication that is covered or request the generic brand which may also be covered. |

Yes, two things. Contact the drug company, see if you can apply for free or drastically reduced drug pricing, based on the fact that your insurance isn't covering it.
Or, talk to your doctor, see if there's an older, just as effective but maybe not so convenient medication you can take, that's cheaper, or even comes in a generic that you can get at Target for $4 a month. |

Since you obviously have internet access, go online and find the pharmaceutical company that makes each one of your medications. Then go to the website of each pharmaceutical company and find the information about their "Patient Assistance Program." Your doctor will have to help you with these, but you may qualify to receive your prescriptions free through the P.A.P. It's worth the effort.
Judging by the limited information you provided above, I can't imagine you not qualifying (unless you are a millionaire, and then you wouldn't need it...) |

call your local walmart and see if any of the drugs they offer for four dollars are yours. just give them the name of each drug and they can check it. it doesnt matter if you have insureance or none, as long as a doctor writes you a perscription you can get it for 4 dollars. i called walmart and inquired about my elderly neighbor. I was able to get her her 10 medications for 4 dollars each. 40 bucks a month versus 380 bucks a month. |

Some of the pharmaceutical companies have programs to assist patients with expensive medications. You'd have to check about your particular one. But as another poster said, I'd start with the doctor who prescribes it. |

Call a Canadian pharmacy - look one up on the internet, most have websites that will tell you if they carry your medication. My mom uses it for her medication as well or we would not be able to afford for her to take it.
If that doesnt work, you can talk to your doctor, sometimes they will keep providing you with samples. Walmart also offers some prescriptions for only $4. |

Move to Florida. Wal-mart sells most major drugs for 4.00 for a month's supply. Cheaper than co-pay. |
