There are lots of good agents that spend a lot of time helping others, work long hours and do community events. And, there are also some of us that go out of our way to help people giving free advice and doing other free stuff without getting paid for it.
And, there are professional agents on this website that give free advice answering your questions. This is a great service for people looking for help. |

Probably because they've scraped out every client that buys policies - that's the money used, to pay your paycheck - from scratch.
It's very, very difficult work, selling insurance policies. And as an agent, I'm continually amazed by the lack of work ethic in most people who want me to pay them to service my clients - and doubly amazed, that they don't realize, that their lack of performance, means less money for EVERYONE. |

So I am very curious. Exactly how many insurance agents have you met? According to the U.S. Department of Labor, there are approximately 434,000 employed insurance agents, i.e. if you count self employed, semi-retired agents who are still licensed -- that's about half a million agents from all different socioeconomic levels, races, ethnicities, etc. Yet you have come to the conclusion that we are all self-entitled and ignorant.
In the years that I have spent as an Agent I have been blessed to meet and on many occasions to work with several thousand agents throughout the country and in my community. Agents that are involved in their communities, who work long hours helping their clients and like many Americans are dedicated to home and country.
From your writing I could conclude just from your question that you are immature, you pay no attention to details, you don't check your work, you are judgmental, you do not accept criticism, etc. IMHO we are all here to learn and no one is perfect nor does any one profession have a lock on attracting A's as you state.
I hope you give yourself the opportunity to grow and mature. Life is too beautiful to spend it being judgmental.
