Will insurance cover laser hair removal?houston tx
i am recently a college student and my school does not offer insurance to the students.other than the obvious health benefits,is there and agency that will cover the cost of laser hair removal?
Laser hair removal is considered a cosmetic procedure in nearly all situations, and would not be covered under any conventional health insurance policy. This one you will need to pay out of your own pocket.

Health insurance will very rarely cover anything that is purely cosmetic.
The only way it would likely be covered is if a Doctor deemed it to me medically necessary.
Here is some more information on how most health insurance plans treat cosmetic procedures:

Um, there aren't any obvious health beneftis to hair removal, that can't be done with a razor.
I've never heard of laser hair removal being covered, as it's pretty much cosmetic.
