in some cases it will, it is best if your doctor says its causing problems, I know of people that got a severe rash like, actually just rawness under belly and boobs, and had doctors document it, then insurance paid for it because it was a health risk, If you have no problems most wont because then its just for looks |

All insurance programs are different.
Call your health care provider and get an estimate of the cost and details of the procedure. Then, submit them to your insurance company and ask for a breakdown of what they will pay for (including your deductibles and co-pays). If you don' t know how, contact your HR department for help. |

All Carriers are different, just like all insurance policies are different. To get a definate answer, call your agent, or the carrier and ask.
I guess it would depend on the reason for removal - is there a medical reason that the doctor says you absolutely have to have it removed and there is no option of leaving it in place? Then they might. If its because you lost alot of weight and now have excess skin, chance is they will not pay.
But again, every policy is different. The only way you will know for sure is to pull out and either read your policy (it will say exactly what is/is not covered), or call your agent and they can call your carrier to find out for you. |
