Of course. The insurance company will examine what is being claimed, not which of the covered people are making the claim. So, a claim by one will affect both down the road. |

Insurance's they all work under the rule , you pay your premium to claim loss or damage when times need
If you claim your policy becomes more expensive to re new
As for your housemate claim , he has a right , and it all depends on the vaule of his claim , if in the long run if he pays for doing so
Like car insurance , if a claim is made , you lose your no claims and this is what puts the price up , and yes it whould affect you as you whould have to declare to a new company that a claim had been made on a policy in your name , there fore they whould see you as a risk , and as such they whould put the price f the policy up |
