The best answer to this question is that you should have read your policy before this happened. Hopefully that is the case here. If your policy does not have the coverage, you should look at placing a jewelry floater endorsement on the policy. This is an endorsement that normally provides all-risk coverage for the item for an additional annual premium.
Consult your agent for more information and rates. If you don't have an agent, this might be a good time to consider switching your insurance to a company where you have an agent that can explain your coverages and that helps look out for your interests. |
