I had some friends that tried to make their entry into the financial services world with Primerica. They were unable to make any money and ended up losing money on the deal. Check out your local Better Business Bureau and see if they have experienced any complaints about Primerica. The national BBB site comes back with 200 different Primerica businesses. Spend a little time and go through them and check out the complaint numbers. With that many complaints, something must not be right with that company.
Aside from the folks that push their products, you won't find too many people that have anything positive to say about the company. Ask any insurance professional about them and you will likely receive a very negative opinion. |

Mitch is right. Your wife will not earn any money. It is not a salary job. It is commission only. And, while she is dishing out all her referrals, her friends and relatatives, by the time she gets her license she will have no one left to sell to.
And, since Primerica only sells term life insurance she will never make any money there. Their agents are usually part timers that have other jobs because they do not make any money there. And, they an inexperienced and usually end up quitting so the only ones that benefit are the VP's because they get overhead commission.
Time to get out is now. If you want to sell insurance call a few of the big companies to see how you get contracted and what their programs are. The big companies sell more products so there is more opportunity for commission.
Check Primerica out at ripoffreport.com and just do a search on their name to find horror stories. |

No. Primerica pays straight commission. If you don't sell, you don't earn. ANYTHING. It's illegal to pay someone commissions if they don't have a license to sell insurance. |

Do you like financial services or were you going to this because they dangled the carrot of 6 figures that you could earn. If you really like this business than research and find an agency or agent to work with. Why aren't you going to follow through with your own financial statement? get something out of it, even if you don't implement it.
