Would I lose my insurance?
I am 23 and I have insurance coverage thanks to my dad's workplace. I am currently pregnant. Would I lose this insurance is I were to get married? My fiance is still a student, and I do not think we will have enough time for him to receive a job with benefits before the baby arrives.

Thanks
Additional Details
Technically I am still a student. I have been accepted to a graduate school, but I wanted to drop out of it.
Thanks for the heads up, maybe I will attend it part-time for a semester. Currently I am working full-time, but I was not offered any benefits, because of my graduate school acceptance.

First of all, you must be a full time college student for your father to cover you as a dependent. The age limits varies from one insurance company to another. So, you must remain a FT college student to be covered under your dad. I am not sure whether getting married will change the fact that you are still a legal dependent or not. I highly suggest you contact your state's insurance commissioners office and ask them. The state laws could vary regarding what your insurance company can and cannot do. If you go to college outside the state that your father works/lives in, you will need to contact the state that your father is in.

Obviously you are too old to be covered as a dependent under your father's insurance, so I have to assume that there is some sort of arrangement with your father's employer to allow family members to obtain group insurance. As long as the employer is not playing outside the rules, your coverage would remain intact (if he/she is, and there are complications and a large bill, be aware that ther could be an investigation as to your true eligibility for coverage and possible retroactive cancellation).
If you are an employee there yourself, your coverage would remain intact.
Good luck.

Most group health insurance plans, have the option to insure your siblings up into the age of 21 if they are in school. With that being said, if you get married, you will probably have no coverage due to your marriage. The coverage only is good as a sibling and at that age a student. Being 23, it looks like your dad's employer has a special arrangement. Look at your dad's policy lists of exclusions and it will hold the answer or call your dads insurance agent or have your dad ask his employer.

You would probably lose the insurance if you get married or if you drop to part-time student. Many policies only cover full-time college attendance.

it would seem to me that the workplace insurance is covering you. Just because you got married doesn't change the fact you work there. However in the same breath, your other half will have no insurance coverage as he does not work there.
IMO

Usually if you're not a FULL TIME STUDENT, you get dropped off the health insurance.

Are you still a college student? You better have your dad check his policy. When i was 23 i had to get my own health care coverage because i was no longer a college student and my mothers policy would no longer cover me
