There is. I have. It was one of my continuing education classes.
It's NOT going to be a big seller, LOL, promise. They ARE out there, and they constantly CHANGE, so until there's a law that passes that contradicts something in the book (oh, three months, maybe), it might work, but will be outdated VERY quickly. |

It would have to be a really big book, because all insurance is different. Just thinking about medical plans offered by employers, some are fully-insured plans and others are self-funded. These have completely different sets of rules and regulations. Most people don't know what kind of plan their employer offers, so having a book wouldn't be of much help. |

I agree there should be one written towards the consumer. That way, we know that agents could understand it too. The difficulty is striking a balance between a thorough explanation and not outdating yourself in a half year.
That would be like writing a book on computer chip architecture. Folks would read it five years from now just to get a good laugh. Maybe a book isn't the right format. Contact me when you are thinking about pulling the trigger. |
