First of all, a good low/ no deductible plan for a teen, in perfect health with nothing already wrong (like the ulcer), is going to cost about $200 a month.
Second, with something already wrong, the insurance company will be excluding coverage for that preexisting condition. OR, charging a lot, LOT more for the insurance.
There's no "free lunch" here. You get what you pay for, and the time to buy health insurance, is BEFORE something goes wrong. |

If you already have the ulcer, then you can no longer get "non expensive" health insurance. You can get "non expensive" health insurance only if you get it while you are still healthy. If you do not get it until after you get sick, then all health insurance is either expensive or not available. |
