Dear Petra,
There no single best life insurance policy. The best policy depends on your requirement. If you looking for only insurance to cover you liabilities you can go for a temp plan, which if pure insurance plan, and is quite cheap. But the problem with term plan is that the rate will keep on increasing and insurance companies are ready to provide cover only up to a certain age. You can also go for traditional insurance schemes like which give you insurance till old age.
If you are looking for a insurance and investment, you are looking at ULIP plan. Till date ICICI Pru Ace is the only plan that I have found worth investment. The plan is not that old so as to create any return history. But it is certainly a plan that gives you investment the best chance to grow. Go for term insurance plan from any reputed insurance company.
Term insurance is pure and cheapest insurance plan. Also keep investment and insurance separate.
