google seems to be very good, i think they will be around for a long time and will always be expanding. but if you do invest all $4000 make sure to spread it throughout different markets like tech, home improvement, food and what not so your risk is lower but the returns are still there |

If you are planning on not needing the money for at least a year, investing on an Index Fund would probably work well for you. Index funds buy stocks broadly in many market segments, thus spreading your risk.
However, if you have a shorter time in mind, you are better off with a CD or a money market account. |

Take a look at Linn Energy, LINE. But don't put all your money into it maybe like 1,000. |

Certificate of Deposit.... 6 month term then look at the stock market again... too risky out there for small change like that. |

All really depends of how much risk you’re willing to take and how soon you want to see returns. I don't believe in interest(bc I think that's what got us in this mess) However some would say to stay safe go for CD's or savings account, if you’re a little more risky and willing to wait, do something like (preferred stock).

Anything with a nice paying div. like DNP or XOM. |

Your best bet would probably be WATER ETFs. we can live without gold, we can live finding alternative sources of energy, but we can not live without water. which is very limited (usable). Think about it! Think about how much people spend on a bottle of water when they go to fairs, carnivals, Disney and such! |

Dia or spy. Small position to begin with and average down if we continue to dump. |
