Depends what you want to do,risk level you want and how long before you want a return. If you want a no risk investment pop it in Fixed Rates bonds for as long as possible to get the best return. Greater risk for greater return could be shares (Could also crash so be warned), Investment houses (F Times has about 30 different ones) and then there is good old property. Buy a property on a buy-to-let with a big deposit e.g 50% Â£50000 and then the rent will cover outgoings and give you a small income each month with prospect capital growth. If all else fails seek an independant Financial Advisor as they will show you all options.

Use the colateral to buy two Â£100k flats and rent out. Your Â£50k will be worth in the region of Â£200k in 7 to 10 years. It will also provide a surplus for maintenance and bad debt. If you need to realise your funds then you can sell or remortgage at any time. Just make sure you buy in the right place.

invest it in us dollars at around $2 to Â£1 then in a year or two sell it for around Â£1 to $1.5 making you a packet - just dont do it through Thomas cook you'll lose it all in commission

or the more practical thing is invest in property (just not in Spain)
