hi, iv came into just over £85,000 inheratince and i need some way to invest some of it
iv not really got any qualifications or business experiance but i am willing to try my *** off
i have 2 kids under 2 and i am currently in a dead end job - i was thinking about property but every one says the bubbles going to burst and i picked up the paper this week to see that the shares market has lost over 400 points (or something like that) causing house prices to fall
i would really like to run my own company and went to a franchise senimar but i dont want to give that much of my money out - how often do you get a chance like this?
im ok with my hands so does anyone know what type of business to open or a better way to invest it?
i was also thiking about a window cleaning round or mobile valet van (saw a fully kitted out van for £7000) anyone tried these and if so does it make you money?
Well first put the money in the bank in a high yield savings account for the time being. That will allow you to get about 5% on your money in the short time.
Regarding the business, be aware that about 90% of all small businesses fail during the first year. You have more than enough to start a small business so I would suggest that you spend a great deal of time investigating all the pros and cons of being your own boss and owning a small business because there are both.
Don't just dive into something that you think is a good idea or someone else thinks, do your research and take your time, even if it means another year in your job.

first of all i would suggest putting most of the money away , with kids you cant be too carefull for the future but and its a big but you could invest in getting some good qualifactions.
personally i would do something like train to operate special machinery like a crane or 360% digger that pays out 500£ a week in wages.
property should be ok for 5 years yet as there simply sint enough houses and it will take years to build new ones.
speak to an INDEPENDANT financial specialist whgo isnt on commision from any bank or agency, and good luck for the future
