Still property.
In the UK, there is a chronic shortage of housing. Until that is resolved, brick & morter is your best bet. A few wobbles due the American market won't stop that. |

If you believe the predictions about crashes in both the property and stock markets it should be cash, or gold. Money would flow out of property and stock in the event of a crash, and then return when the crash has reached it bottom. |

Information and virtual technologies that at least seem to link up the two for healing possibilities.
Consider that people are spending a great deal of time and money these days on virtuality games and software and the machines that run them. Most have given up owning much because they realize that most of life's advertised profitability is both manipulated by forces out of their control and unreachable by the average Joe.
So instead, they look for excitement that allows them to live as comfortable as possible in their own environments and communicate with others about that.
Of course, the media has us viewing people that do have some of the old shares and property. But as their technology improves from those investments in those shares and property, even intellectual property...., those shares will become virtually worth less and the value of "being" will become more.
Who doesn't like a magic show? Just think, we all helped create this! Cause in the end, we will all buy into feeling good and being healthy, or at least the possibility of that once we have everyone on the same track. |

Pond scum. Actually algae grown in ponds of brackish water on land not useable for crops. The algae will be the latest feedstock for biodiesel. |

Both are still good investments long term. Right now though property is probably better since the housing market is off. You can buy low now and wait til the housing situation works itself out. |
