All I can tell you is that it is a better time to buy than it was last October. The blood is flowing knee deep now. Just to be on the safer side though, you had better stick with the industry leaders. When the dust finally does settle, they may be the only ones left. JNJ, KO, MMM, GOOG, PG. |

What does your inner voice tells you. To buy or not to buy. You yourself must decide. |

The best advice is don't. How can anyone advise you if they don't know your financial circumstances, what risk you are prepared to take etc. It's like saying which car should I buy. Er a Bentley, or maybe a Smart car! |

My advice is to learn something about investing before you invest.
Learn your risk tolerance and learn about diversification. Learn about how fees eat into your returns. Learn about tax implications. Learn about active vs passive investing and how the 'experts' usually underperform the market when they pick stocks - and you will, too.

This is the probably the best buyin oppurtunity that the markets will give. But,not on some ones advice, cos it is your money. It is very important to educate urself before deciding to plunge in investing.
I suggest you go through articles on gettingmoneywise.blogspot.com which explain the working of stock markets and what affects them.
Dont follow any1s advice blindly, because we all have different financial goals and the people advcining you by charging you a fees are no good.Let me know if the articles help you or if you need some specific help.I am not a stock market genious but a big supporter of it |

If you don't need the money than invest now as if it does go down you can sit it out and wait til it rises again. The best time will be very early in the new year as most of all the bad news will be known by than,More pain between now and Xmas though.Buy Natwest and sell 2 years later |

I think you should invest in shares of big companies whose price has dropped down in value because when things recover, chances are that the prices will go up. For example, Warren Buffet, the world's richest man, recently bought stakes in Goldman Sachs and General Electric for a really low price which over a period of time will give him good returns. |

Watch the market reports on the DJI, S&P and NASDAQ there is a level where they stop trending down and bounce back. Look at where GE is today compared to two years ago. This is a huge company that is at a bargain low. If you have cable of satellite, tune into CNBC's Fast Money; they'll give you a good education on many financial fronts.
