Down $30-40 monday. The banking bailout deal will convince hedgers that gold isn't needed for a flight to safety, and so gold will go down strong monday, that's how.
And since it went the other way (yes, to my surprise, but glad it did), gold went the other way today too! |

Only saber-rattling will propel Gold higher. Just pick an antagonistic country (is there any other kind?) to America's interests and threaten war. Gold will be up nearly $100 by week's end. |

Well I think the first few hours the price will go back up just shy of last weeks high. Then I would be looking for and think price will turn down and end the week around $800 or even less than that. Really we could see price come close to 600 by end of year. My charts suggests last weeks highs were key resistance. So if by chance you get a daily close above last weeks high then that resistance would be broken and above may be wrong. But you can count on some kind of major move.
