AVOID realty. Opena a Roth IRA and put money into a no-load index mutual fund within the IRA every month. If you are under 25 and can put in $25 a week, you will likely be a millionaire by age 65.

Get a copy of Money magazine or Kiplingers Personal Finance magazine and a book by Suze Orman. Read it, study it and be knowledgeable in investing. Also, invest in businesses that are connected to the three basic needs(food, shelter and clothing).

That is tricky...I would watch on the Real Estate. I have been reading a lot of articles that talk about the market going bust. Too many areas are overpriced. The market is going to have to correct itself and people are going to lose their shirts. Also, recently I saw an article that stated that the bullish stock market is probably going to go down for various reason. Whatever you decide, research, research, research... Good luck!

Real Estate is where it's at. I made a killing.

Investment decision must be taken considering your investment goals and your risk factors. If you are pooling your savings into investments for returns, capital gains, or wealth creation, the investment vehicles are different for each.

For decent returns with minimum risk, investments in deposits or bonds are the best. If you are looking for high returns with high risk then investments in stocks are the best bet. Based on this you can as well invest in mutual funds, which are managed by experience fund managers.

Investments in realty is a conventional investment option. Prior to investing in realty make sure how the value of real estate in that particular area fared in the last few years. This will give some idea of appreciation in value. Besides these there are other factors that would effect apprication in value of real estate, like demand supply situation, an upcoming projects in the vicinity, developments and community buildup.
