It is very tempting to buy right now, some stocks are trading close to their book value. This is not only penny stocks, Seaboard and Berkshire Hathaway are bargains, too. If you wait a bit longer, they might go lower. Then again, they might go back up sooner.

Yes, I am gradually increasing my investment in stock mutual funds, a handful of individual stocks, and some call options. I don't think this is necessarily the bottom, but it's certainly a good time to buy.
Penny stocks are for novice investors who don't know any better, the only ones that make money on them are scammers and spammers.

if you wanna buy now go for blue chip companies. i mean large conglomerates who have a history of producing great results..
Penny stocks may give you great returns in a bull run. in a bear market like this where there a fear of the looming recession, penny stocks are the worst pics. because they do not recover as much as the large caps. you can opt to buy one or two of them but dont put all your money in them.
concentrate on large caps...

Penny stocks are rarely good investments in any type of market - there is a reason they are cheap! If you have no need for the money you are investing now for the next 5-20 years, it would be a good time to invest. I am waiting 3 more weeks - there are a lot of hedge fund redemptions still looming, as well as regular mutual fund declarations to be made. The market bottom has not occured yet, but will, and then I'll start up again, even tho it will be a long slow recovery for a year (then faster increase after that). |

we are buying low, selling high-sometimes it only takes a couple days. Bought Merril Lynch at 19, went up to 28-sold it, then it went back down to 19 and we bought it again. but my husband is a banker and he only invests in company he knows. he also says, only invest money you wont need for a while, sometimes the stocks don't go up right away |
