your asking for stock tips on yahoo answers...

Ur an idiot
Share Builder is the best, yahoo finance has great tips though. If your new to the market don't do day trading, buy a few long term investments and day trade maybe 10% of your money after about a month of watching the market. But with the economy where its at right now, Just go long term and you will make a lot more.

Do not trade based on these recommendations. Most of them will not be based on any research but only some speculations

Well no site can give you the exact company to invest in. Its only your conscience that can help you. To invest in any stock, go for the track record of the company. Look for companies with good fundamentals and there upcoming and ongoing projects or basically their source of income and there order books. This can also help you to predict the company.

Never invest all your money in the same stock. Always diversify your investment across all the sectors so that you are not under pressure of selling. And never purchase a stock when it is at its peak. Always go for investment when the prices are low like the current market situation. Its almost the right time to invest. Invest in a stock when its PE is low.

If you want to track the prices of a stock directly check the site of exchange on which it is listed. like NSE, BSE sites.

Based on yesterday's debate:
Barack Obama said he will fund domestic automakers in detroit ($25 billion).
also on stem cells...
McCain: “You’re running ads how I oppose federal funding for stem cell research. I don’t...I support the funding”(so both want to fund it)

so it looks like:
GM
FORD
STEM
and ASTM

will get some federal funding...and are guaranteed to go up.
