For me, the way to tell is a combination of factors, does it feel the correct weight, Breitlings are heavy, the back should have crisp identifiers, information clearly stamped, and as said before it will be individually numbered. Does the workmanship look like a watch that retails above a thousand pounds? If the strap is metal, does it look like a real Breitling strap, if it's leather, does it feel like they could charge £125 for a replacement? It should also have a reassuring sound to the mechanism. Hope this helps |

If the price is too good to be true it's fake. Any decent watch will come with an individual serial number which can be checked. Alternatively Give it a good shake and drop it in water! |
