It is somewhat beyond my comprehension that you are able to spend so much. Perhaps you live in California? What you have to do is pay yourself first. By that I mean when you get your paycheck each month, take your savings off the top and put it away. Far away. A bank account is too close, to easy to get to. Open a mutual fund account with a good mutual fund company and each month add to the account as you are paid. You should very easily be able to save 2-3k a month under normal living conditions and even abnormal living conditions. Fidelity, Vanguard, T. Rowe Price, and several others have a wide selection of decent funds to select from. Do not put all of your money into just one fund. Select about 5 different funds with different investment criteria. Diversify.
Heck, for that matter does not your company have a 401k plan? Are you in it? If not you should be. |

Set aside a nice chunk of money EVERY MONTH to savings, which you will not touch unless it's a genuine, life and death emergency! Put most of this in long-term savings (stocks or mutual funds), and another chunk of money in a money market or savings. Ideally, this money would be swept aside before you even have a chance to see it (i.e. automatic 401k investments, automatic savings).
You should probably get a financial advisor to figure this out for you. On 15k a month, you can certainly afford it. |

Here's an investment that pays 12% a year. You can start with as little as $50. This would be a good option for diversifying your money and putting some aside for the future. |

Set a budget and stick to it!
A diversified 401k is still a viable option for long term savings. There are other tax deferred investment accounts as well. Set up payroll deductions to help keep you disciplined. |

Been there. Done that. At this point I only work at what interests me...
We all start out resource limited, but quickly become time limited. Best advice is even with good cash flow, put yourself on a budget. That will let you get control of your time quickly.
If you are in the US and in a favorable market, buy a house. Also put the maximal amount allowed into retirement accounts (check with your accountant to see which type is most beneficial, though usually your employer's plans will determine this for you). The tax benefits are worthwhile.

I will help you, if you give me some money. ;-) Just kidding..
If I were you, I'd make a budget, for example: how much you can spend a month on food, clothes, cable, phone bill, light bill, and if you make some goals, you will save money in the long run... Make sense? Hope this helps.
Best wishes,

Take a look at www.quarantz.com They can help you with ideas and make you a solid investment and financial plan and they don't charge for making such a plan for you. Their site is under revision right now, but I heard that it'll be back in full in a couple of days. |

Invest in sectors that are currently out of favor and under valued.
Biotech and technology are going to pay big returns in the coming months as money rotates out of the energy sector.
http://biotech-news.org/
http://tech-stocks.org/
both sites have good info on investing in these sectors. |
